The Tea People are ordinary tax payers fed up with the government, waving flags and singing patriotic signs….and issuing a killorder for President Obama, Harry Reid, Van Jones, Bill Ayers, Joseph Biden and Nancy Pelosi. Do you think this just one or two people in the fringes?
This Facebook page, The Tea Party Patriots boasts a membership of 366,755 people. This is further proof that the word patriot is overused. A true patriot would never call himself a patriot. He or she would just be patriotic and not advertise for the assassination of our President.
Meet Thomas P. Kerr:
As the leader of the North Carolina Civilian Militia, I, Thomas P. Kerr, am issuing a KILL ORDER for Barack Obama, Van Jones, Bill Ayers, Joseph Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid. Long live the United States of America!
How many passes is Andrew Breitbart going to get for race baiting via deceptive videos? It’s not so surprising that Fox News has an endless, forgiving appetite for his material but why isn’t he reviled everywhere else with disgust and disbelief? First, Breitbart released the now-discredited ACORN videos and now he has put out a deceptively edited video of now ex-USDA employee Shirley Sherrod making her out as anti-white. Breitbart seems to have done no investigation into whether or not Sherrod really was anti-white before he released the video.
“Forget tradition. Forget privacy. In our celebrity-drenched culture, Bristol and Levi quickly figured out what Sarah and I both failed to understand: Bristol’s out-of-wedlock pregnancy was not an embarrassment. It was a marketing opportunity.
Think about it. A teenage single mom with a high school diploma. A father who dropped out of high school in his junior year. These are not the makings of a stable economic path.”
Need a pick me up? Read Ruth Marcus’ hilarious Washington Post editorial all about our favorite newly-engaged couple. One can only hope Levi uses part the alleged $100,000 the couple was paid for their Us Weekly interview towards earning his GED.
“Atheist and evolutionist high school biology teachers are going to be extremely angry. Creation Ministries International has launched a “Question evolution” campaign. Creationist high school students are going to wear “Question evolution” t-shirts to their high schools and Bible believing churches are going to encourage them to do so.”—

What are these kids indoctrinated into creationism really going to think when they do question evolution? Find out that it’s logical and makes sense, and being a created from dirt by the man in the sky is hokey, at best. In all honesty I think this is a great idea. Get these kids out from underneath the creationist choke hold, and have them research evolution and question things around them. Ok, I know that it’s not going to happen, but it’s a nice thought.
A discovery of three antibodies that neutralize 91% of HIV strains has the potential to possibly lead to a future vaccine, according to an article published in Science magazine.
The antibodies were culled from the body of a 60 year old gay African-American male, referred to as Donor 45, who has been HIV positive for the last 20 years. According to the Wall Street Journal, the research team designed a specially crafted probe to exactly emulate the molecular site where the HIV-neutralizing antibodies attack.
Dr. Gary Nabel, director of the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, led the research team, stressed that the implementation of the antibodies must work towards a universal effect that can overcome the virus’s constant mutations.
Theorized methods of implementation for the antibody vaccine include a raw form drug, a “microbicide” gel to be applied before sexual intercourse, and a stimulant that would cause the immune system to produce the antibodies before infection. The discovery also holds the possibility for boosting the effectiveness of already-existing HIV treatment medication.
Experimentation is in progress, but as Dr. Nabel asserts, “We’re going to be at this for a while.”
Glenn Beck is continuing to stir up controversy with his idiotic, insensitive and eccentric comments, this time about race relations in the United States prior to the Civil War.
On his June 25th edition of the Glenn Beck program the conservative radio show host/ FOX News commentator somehow managed to gloss over the atrocities of slavery when talking about race relations before the war that divided the North and the South.
According to Beck the Civil war was “politicized” into being all about slavery and before then Beck says Blacks and Whites were being treated as equals.
Beck goes on to say:
“Tonight you will see that… I’ll show you clippings from the newspaper of the war heroes as they were buried with full honors from the Revolutionary War, where they were getting full benefits. I will show you, I held in my hand the statement on benefits from George Washington…there was no delineation between white and black. It was white/black it didn’t matter.
“If you fought there was nothing like that from our founders. And when you see the newspaper clippings of African Americans who fought heroically and received full military honors and were buried at such and such…The things that have happened in this country, where it really started to go wrong, was in the lead up to the civil war. And it became politicized, and it was all about slavery. Before then we were moving on the right track, you’ll learn things tonight you’ve never, ever learned before and you’ll ask yourself, “Why?”
I am starting to wonder if Beck believes his own bull shit, or if he is just saying this to get a rise out of people and make more money for his beloved FOX NEWS (and himself).
Folks. Glenn Beck is either an idiot or a genius. I dunno his motives, so I really have yet to draw a solid conclusion. Either way, it’s no secret that he is prone to theatrics. Take a look at this picture below in which he parodies Lindsay Lohan at her court trial. He has the words “No Ratings”…
“The organizers said the flight was the longest and highest by a piloted solar-powered craft, reaching an altitude of just more than 28,000 feet above sea level at an average speed of 23 knots, or about 26 mph.
The plane, Solar Impulse, landed where it had taken off 26 hours and 9 minutes earlier, at Payerne, 30 miles southwest of the capital, Bern, after gliding and looping over the Jura Mountains, its 12,000 solar panels absorbing energy to keep its batteries charged when the sun went down.
”I’ve been a pilot for 40 years now, but this flight has been the most incredible one of my flying career,” Borschberg said as he landed, according to a statement from the organizers of the project. “Just sitting there and watching the battery charge level rise and rise, thanks to the sun.”
He added that he had flown the entire trip without using any fuel or causing pollution.”
“Obama doesn’t want to be in Afghanistan any more than Benjamin Netanyahu wants to be in the West Bank. Yet like the Israeli prime minister, the president lacks the guts to get out. It’s all so complicated. There are risks involved. Things might go wrong. There’s an election to think about. So the war continues. Sustaining some artfully updated version of the status quo becomes the easier (or more expedient) course. Thus does a would-be messiah promising salvation and renewal succumb to the imperatives of “politics”—with young soldiers and their families left to bear the consequences. The question demands to be asked: Who is more deserving of contempt? The commander-in-chief who sends young Americans to die for a cause, however misguided, in which he sincerely believes? Or the commander-in-chief who sends young Americans to die for a cause in which he manifestly does not believe and yet refuses to forsake?”—Andrew Bacevich (via azspot) (via brave-slut)
