In the time that it took someone to make this, 3x these numbers will have happened. Now tell me again how effective being a dick is. Leave people alone if they are not hurting anyone.

Being a dick is different than asking a supernatural being to solve problems. 

I’m not asking for anyone to fix anything.

Second, I didn’t come on anyone else’s blog and post this, I didn’t force it on anyone, I posted a picture pointing out that prayer wasn’t logical. If I were being a dick I would be posting that in people’s in boxes.

I believe that prayer can be a form of meditation, even though I’m agnostic. At the end of the day, if someone wants to think on things they are worried about, even if it is to a god that may or may not be there, they should be able to do it. I’ve found that most people who are religious put the same amount of effort into trying to change the world for the better as people who aren’t religious. No more, no less. This picture says to me that whoever made this picture thinks that everyone should be spending every second of their day in service of others, which isn’t possible. 

Also, I’m sorry if you took offense to my opinion. Just like you, I didn’t post this in anyone’s inbox, or yours. I reblogged it to voice my opposition.

And that’s cool, if you want to pray for personal reasons, more power to you.

The way I take it is if you want to change things outside of yourself then action will give you more results than prayer. 

I took no offense, only clarifying a position. 

I like the last comment. My great-grandmother always said, you only do so much praying. You have put things in motion.
